PAOCBC 2010 Events

May 22 – Pub Night #1

The first pub night for 2010. Get down to The Hackney Hotel from 6.00pm and enjoy some beeriness, have a meal, a punt on the dogs and talk lots and lots about how good our basketball club is. We will also be handing out the jugs for Player Of The Week - Weeks #1 to #4. Nic Blair and his Forestville squadron are playing at Mars @ 8.15pm so we could all make the trip back to watch the game.

June 19 - Pub Night #2

Come to The Hackney Hotel from 6.00pm. It will be super mega awesome – we can have beer, food and fun ... that is the kind of BFF we all want forever. We will also be handing out the jugs for the Player Of The Week - Weeks #5 to #7.

July 10 – PAOCBC Quiz Night

This year we will be holding the first ever PAOCBC Old Reds Quiz night. It will be from 6.30 for 7.00 @ The Prince Phillip Theatre at PAC. $10 Entry. If you like prizes, drinks @ 1970’s prices and quiz questions then you will be want to be here. More details to come soon.

July 26 - Intercol

We will be at Saints this year. The C's start at 6.30, the B's at 7.30 and the A's at 8.30. After the games we will be going to The Maid and Magpie to have a few beers (celebratory ones) and some tasty nibbles. All friends and family are welcome to the game and the pub after.

July 31 - Pub Night #4

July is the social month of the year with numerous functions. Come after the final game to get your drink on as we hand out the Player Of The Week jugs for Week #8 to #12.

August 21 - Pub Night #4

Another week and another basketball club function - life is good. Come to The Hackney after the games to enjoy a few quiet drinks and grab a meal. We will be handing out Player Of The Week jugs for Week #13 to #15.

August 28 - Players' Player Awards Night

The PAOCBC night of nights. Come to The Hackney where we will be having the 6th Annual Players' Player Count to award the best players in the A through E Grade teams in the eyes of his teammates. It is always a great night - the count will start at 7.00pm. People can arrive from 6pm to grab some food. All friends and family are welcome. Click herefor some photos of previous events.

October 23 - PAOCBC Club Lunch

This year's lunch will be held at The Hackney Hotel. Come for lunch and drinks package. We will be awarding MVP and Best Team Man for every team, the Sean Heylen Medalist for best player in the Intercol and this year's Club Champion. All friends and family welcome.

July 10 - Pub Crawl

The 6th Annual PAOCBC Pub Crawl is an event that can't be missed. We will be starting at The Hackney Hotel at 6.00pm. We will start with a few beers and a quick meal and then make our way around the pubs of Adelaide.We will also be handing out the jugs for the Palky's Player Of The Week - Weeks #8 & #9.

July 27 - Intercol

This is our year to host the Old Scholars Basketball Intercol against old rivals Saint Peters at the PAC Gym. The C's start at 6.30, the B's at 7.30 and the A's at 8.30. After the games we will be going to The Hackney Hotel to have a few beers (hopefully celebratory ones) and some tasty nibbles. All friends and family re welcome to the game and the pub after.
